Our Playgroup programme for children aged 2-3 years provides a nurturing, engaging and play-based environment where young children can explore, develop confidence and begin to build independence.
Following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), children learn and develop through seven key areas:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Literacy
- Communication and Language
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Development
- Physical Development
At Little Giants, we believe young children learn best through hands-on, purposeful play. Children are encouraged to explore, make choices, communicate and develop new skills at their own pace. Our teachers support each child’s individual development and celebrate every giant step along the way.
Early literacy and mathematics are introduced naturally through play, stories, songs, nursery rhymes, creative activities and everyday experiences. Children develop early language, number and problem-solving skills while learning about colours, shapes, animals, food and the world around them.
